In this private tour you will be introduced to what is considered one of the best fish markets in the world, Setubal fish market. On the way we'll discover one of the most beautiful natural landscapes of Portugal, the beautiful bay of Setúbal, the verdant Arrabida mountain and the estuary of the river Sado.

Leave Lisbon behind and head out in our Van or Suv to the other side of the Tagus River, crossing the 25 Abril bridge towards the Christ the King monument, whose height embraces Lisbon from 225 m above the sea level. Here prepare your camera to capture the magnificent views of Lisbon and surroundings.

This is the first step of a different experience aiming to know the exuberant variety of fish caught in the Atlantic, the traditional cheese and wine from the Alentejo region, all that in a visit to the Livramento Market in Setúbal, 40 Km south of Lisbon (closed on Monday). The fish market was considered among the world 10 best fish markets. During this tour you will get to know this beautiful region and you can enjoy a lunch of grilled fish in a local restaurant.

The city is located at the edge of the ocean, is bathed by a beautiful bay where lives a colony of dolphins and by the estuary of Sado river, refuge of a rich variety of birds.

In a beautiful belvedere overlooking the ocean with breathtaking views, I'll invite you to have a coffee and visit an old military fort of the seventeenth century, talking about its history.

Returning to Lisbon we have yet time to visit the medieval Castle of Palmela and talk about its history or optionally we can visit in the Sado estuary, a 400 year old tidal mill, rebuilt recently.
